What is a PDMR?
PDMR stands for person discharging managerial responsibilities, a term of the EU Market Abuse Regulation. Their trades in their own company's shares, and those of people closely associated with them, must be disclosed.
Who counts as a PDMR
- A member of the company's administrative, management or supervisory body, such as the board of directors or the supervisory board.
- A senior executive outside those bodies who has regular access to inside information and the power to take managerial decisions affecting the company's future development and business prospects.
Persons closely associated
- a spouse or a partner considered equivalent to a spouse;
- a dependent child;
- a relative who has shared the same household for at least one year;
- a company, trust or partnership managed or controlled by any of these people, set up for their benefit, or whose economic interests are substantially the same as theirs.
This site labels such filings as closely associated. In this site's research, weeks where they supplied most of the buying did worse afterwards than other weeks.
